Empty Bowls

The Empty Bowl Project’s Main Event, was November 4th. It brought  families, friends, artists, restaurants, businesses and community members together for a fun afternoon.

The soups were great, entertainment and a silent auction were wonderful. We had so many guests who came to help eliminate empty bowls… thank you!

The Empty Bowl Project was run completely by volunteers. All proceeds from sponsorships, donations, auction items and the sale of bowls went directly to Community Sharing Outreach Center.

The project objective of raising awareness of food insecurity suffered by children, families and seniors in the Huron Valley School District took a giant leap forward through this event.
