Toni A. Wisne

Foundation

To provide financial support for organizations who supply food, better health and educational services, veteran needs and to assist animal welfare programs in Southeast Michigan.

Where did we come from?

We were founded by Toni Ann Wisne Sabina in 2006. Toni grew up in Dearborn with her parents, Hazel and Anthony Wisne, and her three brothers, Larry, Alan and Joseph Wisne. Anthony Wisne founded the well-known automotive supplier of assembly equipment company in Southfield, Michigan called Progressive Tool & Industries Co. PICO eventually would be acquired by Comau Productivity Systems Inc.

Toni Ann had a vision for what she wanted to accomplish in life. Her desire to feed the hungry and serve her community in Michigan drove her to build successful restaurants in different cities. Too Chez, Forte, and Tribute were all local restaurants with a well known reputation. Knot Just a Bar and Latitude in Bay Harbor, Michigan, Knot Just a Bar in Omena, Michigan were also opened and greatly successful as well. A catering company called Epoch catering was also one of her well known developments and served Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi amongst other main banquet venues. From her success, she knew she wanted to create a foundation that would eventually give back to schools, food banks, foster homes, and animal shelters in the surrounding areas in Detroit among other worthy causes that serve the community. Her passion lives through the Toni A. Wisne Foundation today.
